A die-hard Florida football family came thru this week. I have say, I'm not the hugest Gators fan, but their trademark orange and blue make for good photos!
Their full album is currently private. Throughout the 60 minutes of tiresome poses, this family was a great sport...get it?

Photo editing takes 20x the time of the photo shoot. But it's always worth the extra effort.
More to come...

Thanks to Sarah, I have the permission to release a few more photos from the Dilley Family Holiday 2011 session.

I'm hoping to show a sneak peek at the session from today a little later. It involves maternity and military.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of doing a studio session with a mom, dad, and 2-year-old. Even though the daughter started crying 5 minutes into the photo shoot, the pictures came out uber cute. Here are a few of them:
Not a bad deal at 15 bucks, right? In January, the price is going back up to $49 for this package, so I hope all the photolover families try us out this month. There are 22 more photos from this session that I can't display.

For today's session. I don't know how many members there will be. I'm running out of candy canes, so none (that I will have to bribe into smiling) I hope. :)

By the way, the boy in my sample album is my long-lost sister's oldest son with his gal and daughter. It's mind-boggling to even imagine that we found our sister, let alone her children and grandchild.

What a blessing to be in North Carolina!

Thanks to Arlene Millar, word has gotten out that we are launching a photography business. I wish I could meet Arlene to thank her in person! I got four appointments this week already!

Steve and I have been neighborhood introverts since we got here. It's been a hard few months for us, finding a home, learning the highways, registering our IDs, and taking care of our son Miyka. But we have been dying to meet everyone.

Fortunately, finding a job hasn't been a hardship. Steve and I run a broadcast media design company from that operates using lots of high-tech equipment and products delivered via the internet. With our recording studio, motion graphics workshop, and TV production office, portraiture is actually our least marketable skill. But it is far from the least interesting.

I can't wait to capture the beautiful families and personalities that make Carolina Seasons the place to be!
